Moesdorf belongs to the commune of Mersch and is located in the center of Luxembourg.

Various bus routes serve the bus station, providing direct transport, for example, to the Badeanstalt in the center of Luxembourg-City. A large, free P+R parking lot is directly adjacent to the station.

Via Pettingen, the Mierscherbierg and freeways in all directions are directly accessible without having to pass through the center of Mersch. Thanks to its central location, Moesdorf is 15 minutes from Diekirch and Ettelbruck, and 20 minutes from Luxembourg City.

Schools
The Mersch school is a primary school for all children in the commune of Mersch. It comprises several buildings and provides education for cycles 1 and 4. The complex also includes 2 Maisons Relais, which are open throughout the school year.

There are 3 secondary schools in Mersch: the Lycée Ermesinde, the Lycée Technique pour professions éducatives et sociales and the Lycée Classique de Diekirch annexe Mersch, which also includes a boarding school and a sports school for young Luxembourg basketball players.
