The Commune of Käerjeng is located in the south-west of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, on the Belgian border. The Commune of Käerjeng was created by the merger of the Communes of Bascharage and Clemency on January 1, 2012.

Main roads :
Hautcharage is crossed by CR 110A and CR 111, respectively rue de Bascharage and rue de la Gare. These two roads provide quick access to national highways, notably the N5 (Luxembourg - Pétange - France/Belgium) and the A13 freeway, the Collectrice Sud, which crosses the south of the country from east to west.

Public transport :
The nearest bus stop to the project site, "Hautcharage, Crèche", is located rue du Dix Septembre, on CR 111, about 100 meters from the project site.
This stop is served by the TICE 3 line (Esch - Belvaux - Bascharage - Linger - Rodange) and the RGTR 215 line (Kirschberg - Luxembourg - Bascharage).
The "Hautcharage, Um Kläppchen" stop, located in rue de Bascharage around 300 meters from the site, is served by TICE lines 3 and 15 (Esch/Belval - Bascharage - Clemency) and RGTR line 215.
The Commune of Käerjeng offers a "Nightbus" service to the "Hautcharage, crèche" stop on Friday and Saturday evenings, from Kirchberg and downtown Luxembourg.
